The Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee’s Knoxville office needs your help! We’re in need of KAT (Knoxville Area Transit) Bus Passes for our clients who do not have access to transportation. We use these passes to aid our clients in getting to therapy sessions, advocacy appointments, and with any other travel related to their assaults (court, law enforcement interviews, etc.)  Many of our clients don’t have access to their own transportation and may not have loved ones who can or will transport them (especially if they would have to miss work or other obligations to do so). These passes give our clients the ability to take part in healing by being able to attend therapy as well as allowing them to participate in the criminal justice system related to their assault.
