PIONEERS PRESS ZINE OF THE DAY!
Learning Good Consent
by Cindy Crabb

Curated by Doris editor Cindy Crabb, Learning Good Consent looks at the culture of sexual consent from a standpoint both sexy and educational. Over the course of 46 pages, Cindy and friends create a well-rounded consent workshop, with all sites set on healing and helping. In a world of shady abusers, demonized victims, and one-sided dating rituals, Consent has your back. As says Cindy in the zine’s intro, “Talking about our experiences with consent, our struggles, our mistakes and how we’ve learned, these are part of a much larger revolutionary struggle.”
(Note: This edition of the zine was published by Cindy, NOT by Microcosm Publishing.)

Laurel House: Supporter of victims of sexual assault/abuse guide

yodasithfoor:

Laurel House is a Northern Tasmanian sexual assault support organisation. This section of their website is basically about how to react when someone reveals they have been sexually assaulted/abused and things you need to keep in mind and think about when confronted with this.

It is great that there are people that are doing this, especially in such a small place.

The TN Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence hosted the CCRI July 16-18th in Nashville. As always the CCRI was packed full of great speakers, information and resources on Sexual Assault, Community Collaboration, and Victim Centered Care.
We live-tweeted the whole event (@SACETN), you can check out lots of real time quotes and tidbits at #CCRI, but for those of you who don’t follow us on twitter (you should) here’s a brief recap of resources from all 11 sessions.
